WHO ARE WE

We are a dynamic, open group of people with artistic sensitivity who wish to express our feelings and emotions through colour, with the help and guidance of Herminia Antolinos, who directs our work. Our development in art is based on painting, gaining knowledge about the History of Art and reflecting on the theory of colour introduced by the Anthroposophy Philosophy.

METHOD OF WORK

In order to have the experience of colour we mainly use watercolour, as this medium allows us to contact our inner world and in this way guide us to our artistic transformation. After that we develop all the other techniques: inks, acrylics, oils, pigments, etc. on a variety of mediums: paper, canvas, silk, wood, metacrilate, With this knowledge we are prepared to express feelings in any painting means or technique (sculpture, ceramics, enamel on fire, silk, paper, canvas) As well as painting individually, the group work is very important : comments, observations and reflections on each other's work. Our learning happens mainly with our painting, but we also try to find moments for reflections, lectures on the lives and works of great painting masters, watching art videos, etc. We work mainly in our art studio but, weather permitting, we also do field painting in the city or mountain, or near the sea.

THEORETICAL BASIS

--J.W.Goethe Father of romanticism. His writings in the book The Theory of Colour provide us with important insights.
--Rudolf Steiner Founder of Anthroposophy. His writings in the books The Essence of Colour, and Art and The Knowledge of Art, help us in the inner development that leads us to concrete experiences.
--Anthroposophy This is a path of knowledge that attempts to lead back to the already existing spiritual part in the human being towards the universal spirituality. Anthroposophy is a study of the essence of man that leads to a better understanding of the man and the world.
--W.Kandinsky Painter and innovator of the effects of the line, his writings The Dot and the Line, and About Spirituality in Art are a great source of inspiration for us
